Welcome to Rose Challenges

Brief overview of the project

Brief overview of the project

Rose Challenges is a para hotel residence designed for people affected by environmental sensitivities or invisible disabilities, as well as for anyone looking for a calm and healthy place to stay. These situations are often misunderstood and can lead to isolation, exhaustion and difficulty finding suitable accommodation. The residence offers a quiet, healthy and caring environment where guests can rest in safety.
The house is an old stone building, renovated with healthy and durable materials chosen to limit irritants and improve indoor air quality. The layout is developed with the support of a specialised engineering office, in order to offer a controlled environment adapted to sensitive guests and compliant with current standards.
The renovation focuses on:
Natural or low irritant materials
Optimised ventilation and air filtration
Cork finishes for their natural properties
Technical solutions to reduce certain exposures
Local and socially responsible companies
Rose Challenges is not a medical centre and does not provide healthcare. It is a place for rest, respite and well being, where each person is welcomed with respect, without judgement and without pressure.
The aim is simple: to offer a place where guests can breathe, regain stability and feel understood.

Depending on needs and wishes, the residence may offer:
Listening and support sessions
Restorative or creative activities
Workshops or short retreats
A table d’hôtes attentive to dietary constraints
A setting that supports focus and deep rest
These services do not replace medical care. They are intended to support resilience, confidence and a sense of well being.
Rose Challenges is part of a wider approach that includes:
Social utility and inclusion
Revitalisation of an old rural building
Local job creation
Sustainable and responsible tourism
Welcoming vulnerable or isolated people
The project is supported by professionals (accountant, engineering office, ESS advisors) to ensure its solidity and long term viability.
Many people living with environmental sensitivities or invisible disabilities experience misunderstanding, loneliness or constant fatigue. Rose Challenges aims to be a refuge: a place to pause, breathe, feel respected and regain strength.
A simple, human, soothing place.A place where you can finally say: “Here, I feel well.”
If you would like more details (and F.A.Q.) about the context, environment, ideas and offer and a video of the place, I have shared some information here.
