Details - Frequently Asked Questions
Thank you for your interest in Rose Challenges. This page gathers additional information and answers to the most common questions, based on the current stage of the project.
Is the residence only for people with environmental sensitivities or invisible disabilities?
No. The residence is open to everyone, as long as the house rules are respected and the well being of all guests is preserved.
It is designed primarily for people who need a calm, healthy and considerate environment, but it can also welcome visitors simply looking for a peaceful stay in a natural setting.
The aim is to offer high quality services focused on comfort, rest and well being.
What personal experience inspired this project?
The project grew out of a life journey marked by challenges, periods of vulnerability and the need to find suitable solutions when the environment becomes difficult to tolerate.
Instead of enduring these difficulties, I chose to transform them into something useful: creating a welcoming, soothing and respectful place for people who are often misunderstood or isolated.
With support from the Region and guidance from BGE Pays de la Loire, the project has been structured, formalised and strengthened through a solid business plan.
The residence will be located in a traditional stone building surrounded by a preserved natural environment.
Have you already managed a business?
Yes. Entrepreneurship requires discipline, adaptability and continuous learning. Creating a company within the Social and Solidarity Economy also involves meeting specific regulatory requirements.
For this reason, I work with professionals (accountant, advisors, potential partners) and continue to train myself to ensure the project’s long term stability.
Is your project innovative?
Yes, in several ways.
1. An environment adapted to sensitive individuals
The renovation uses natural or low irritant materials, along with technical solutions designed to improve indoor air quality and comfort.
2. Special attention to allergies and chemical sensitivities
Materials and furnishings are chosen to reduce irritants, dust and sources of discomfort.
3. A space dedicated to rest and well being
The residence will offer quiet areas, restorative activities and services that support relaxation and resilience.
The innovation lies in the coherent combination of these elements within a single place, designed for needs that are still rarely addressed in traditional accommodation.
What will you offer?
Comfortable, simple rooms adapted to sensitive guests
Natural and ecological hygiene products
A small library and shop focused on well being and resilience
Filtered drinking water available on each floor
Home made meals prepared mainly with unprocessed, organic, gluten free and lactose free ingredients
A vegetarian and alcohol free cuisine
A wooded garden designed for calm and recentring
Workshops and activities related to resilience
Multilingual welcome (FR, ENG, NL)
A fully non smoking establishment
Eco friendly or hypoallergenic products for laundry and cleaning
What does “adapted for people sensitive
to electromagnetic exposure” mean?
The residence is not located in a “white zone” but it offers a calm and controlled indoor environment designed through specific architectural and technical choices to welcome highly sensitive guests. The intention is to create an oasis where certain sources of discomfort can be reduced to support rest and well being.
It is not a form of complete isolation, but rather an enhanced level of comfort supported by:
suitable materials,
thoughtful room layout,
reduced sources of indoor disturbance,
an emphasis on rest and tranquillity.
The external environment may evolve over time, but the residence is designed to remain adaptable, with solutions that can be adjusted if needed.
How is the project environmentally responsible?
Several aspects contribute to its ecological approach:
Renovating a two century old building instead of constructing a new one
Making use of the natural thermal qualities of stone
Using eco materials and natural products in guest areas
Paying special attention to indoor air quality
Using ecological or hypoallergenic products for cleaning and laundry
The aim is to create a healthy, sustainable and environmentally respectful place.
What does “a place that promotes well being as soon as you enter” mean?
The residence is designed to offer an immediately calming atmosphere, thanks to:
a quiet environment,
natural materials,
soft and simple decoration,
bright and uncluttered spaces,
a green outdoor setting,
services that encourage rest and relaxation.
The intention is to create a space where guests feel welcome, soothed and respected from the moment they arrive.
In conclusion…
The project is progressing step by step, with seriousness and dedication. It is ambitious but achievable, supported by professionals and built on a solid foundation.
Rose Challenges is more than a peaceful refuge: it is a place where guests can feel recognised, regain strength, and leave with ideas to improve their own living environment.
The residence is dedicated to those who wish to move forward, recharge and strengthen their resilience in a caring setting.
